In Maths, we will develop our understanding of number and place value. Working with numbers to 100, we will explore how numbers can be represented, partitioned and compared. We will also begin to make estimations (for example, estimating where a number would go on a number line) and round to the nearest 10.

We will also develop our skills in measuring length, height and mass using standard units. 

Later in the term, we will focus on addition and subtraction, using practical resources, pictorial and mental strategies to solve calculations and problems. Throughout our learning, we will develop our mathematical reasoning and problem-solving skills and learn to explain how we know our answers are correct.
