Pilgrims of Hope

At Sacred Heart, we are joyfully embracing the Jubilee Year 2025, proclaimed by Pope Francis with the inspiring theme ‘Pilgrims of Hope’.

This special year, running from 24 December 2024 to 6 January 2026, is a sacred invitation for us all to renew our relationship with God, with one another, and with all of creation.

We are dedicating time throughout the year to reflect on the core themes of the Jubilee:

• Care for Creation
• Forgiveness and Reconciliation
• Justice and Peace
• Pilgrimage, Rest, and Hope

These themes will guide our learning, prayer, and action as we strive to live out our mission:

‘We Pray; We Learn; We Discern’

As part of this Holy Year, which traditionally occurs every 25 years in the Church, we will be welcoming the Pilgrims of Hope anchor into school and celebrating our role in its journey. 

We look forward to celebrating our faith in meaningful and creative ways throughout the year, becoming true Pilgrims of Hope in our world.
