Our topic this half term is called Passport to Europe. We have been learning all about Spain, particularly, Andalucia. The children have had great fun as it is a country close to Miss Lamb's heart. The children have been looking at the geography of Andalucia and have learnt about some of the cities, weather and how the children live in Andalucia. I think it is fair to say some of Year 4 would rather be living there in the sun!
With Mrs Hargreaves, you will be looking at different composers and pieces of music over the years.
As part of our English unit we will be looking at Novels as a theme and Non-Chronological reports. Our book this unit will be 'Gulliver's Travel'. Children will also be writing a Non-Chronological report about Andaluica.
During Maths we are going to be looking at interpreting and representing data, multiplication and division along with shape and position. There will be lots of practice and I will be encouraging you to keep trying at home.
