"With the devastating aftermath of the earthquake, thousands have sadly lost their lives.

Children have become orphaned and have lost everything in just few seconds.

These children your school have supported have sadly lost one or both parents in the earthquake.

We would like to say a big massive heartfelt thank you to the pupils, staff and management of Sacred Heart Primary School Blackburn - because of your kind and generous donations, we have been able to bring “miles of smiles” to the children by allowing them to go shopping to buy much needed new clothes which was urgently required.

The smiles you have brought in their time of difficulty will be cherished by the children and their families forever thanks to you."
