Spring 2

The topic for Spring 2 is ‘Let it Grow ’. Our enquiry question is 'What can grow?' 

The core text for this half term has been ‘The Little Red Hen’. The children have enjoyed learning the story and acting it out. We have learnt about bread and enjoyed tasting different types, the white bread was the most popular. 

The children have developed their understanding of what we can grow and what plants need in order to be healthy. We have learnt about spring and the changes that happen. The children have learnt about farm animals and which animals are born during springtime.
